Upmost respect for the family dollar store here in stafford springs ct. Ever since a new manager has arrived it's been a pleasure going there again. I've met the manager and what a polite young lady she is, great customer service from her and very polite. A cashier which name tag appears to say "Celeste" put a very big smile on my face today. I had a very sad morning and by going to this store helped out with her smile. Thank you family dollar for your very kind help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angriest staff I've ever seen in retail. Almost everyone there is nice as individuals, but they clearly hate their jobs and a couple have no problem taking it out on customers. I went in the wrong side of where you line up at checkout. Despite being they ONLY customer there at 945, the young lady working made me walk all the way around a long rack to end up standing in the exact same place just so i did it right. The store itself is pretty clean and orderly and the parking lot clear of debris. Prices are good, but better down the road at dollar General where the staff is always super nice and ready to help.
Prices and selection are competitive with grocery and larger stores. Lower prices and using coupons makes it a great store.
